Meet The Band
Echoes of the past, voices of today
Stage Fright is an 80s-inspired rock band with a modern twist, caught in the pulse of the 21st century. Drawing influence from legends like Pink Floyd, Pierce the Veil, and David Bowie, they’re on a mission to reignite the true essence of rock and roll. Their music isn’t just for entertainment — it’s a powerful narrative, telling the stories of today’s struggles and shedding light on the challenges of mental illness.
Stage Fright started as a group of college students getting paired up for a project in their music theory class. For this project they were tasked with creating a song about a current event that has impacted their life. They chose to write about the stigma surrounding mental health in today's day and age. During this process the six classmates found comfort in one another and became close friends. The rest of the year they chose to do all their projects together. By the end of the year they released silent screams and it gained some traction, so they decided to build a whole album surrounding mental health struggles. They realized that this group was more than just a group of college friends, it was a family and decided to form what today is known as… Stage Fright!
